I was born in Toronto, Canada.
I grew up in Southern Florida then Northern California, but the place where I get that warm-home feeling is South Africa, where my family is from.
I love real moments.
I love beautiful light.
I love the bond of family.
I love the humor of children.
Making photographs that document these moments is what makes me happy.
I have been working as a photographer since 2005 while traveling and living internationally.
Barcelona, Paris, Denmark, South Africa, and California have been my home for the past ten years after graduating from San Francisco State University with a Bachelors degree in Photo Journalism.
My work has been published in The Sunday Times (South Africa), Spin Magazine, San Francisco Magazine, LA Daily, Kinki Magazine (Switzerland), Architectural Record, Daily Mail, Vice Magazine, The Boston Globe, The Times-Tribune, SFist, The Press-News, New Haven Register, Dayton Daily, CNS News, Marin Magazine and The Marin Independent Journal.
I have contributed to Non-Profits in Tanzania and South Africa including Arusha Project, Mbinga Children's Organization, and Izulu Orphan Projects.
